One of the wonderful things about research and analysis is that you always have something to do. Ideas never stop pouring in and the researcher’s job is to perpetually keep transforming these ideas into usable procedures. Technical analysis is such an amazing field that requires a lot of effort to find its hidden gems. Most of my previous articles are specialized in discussing more exotic techniques to be added into the trading framework. Hence, what I present should be taken into consideration within a full trading system. I believe that combining elements from different angles yields a better decision. This time we will discuss Wilder’s Parabolic Stop-and-Reverse indicator, code it, and see three different strategies on how we can use it.

I have just published a new book after the success of New Technical Indicators in Python. It features a more complete description and addition of complex trading strategies with a Github page dedicated to the continuously updated code.
