Thank you for your comment. In fact, I use technical analysis all the time, however, I am just stating that the plain simple technical analysis (that uses simple triggers on RSI or simple moving averages) is likely to fail according to many back-tests I have made.

In the short-term, we cannot do fundamental analysis, and hence, the leading analyses becomes Technical. By following good risk management rules and forming a robust strategy, it is possible to be profitable (as is in your case I would suggest).

My concern is that many new traders are failing because they overexagerate the power of technical analysis or misuse it.
